Welcome - Opening Remarks

The meeting commenced at 7:03pm. Leslie Goit chaired the meeting. 22 members were in attendance.

2. One request for New Business was added to the prepared Agenda, to make a motion to have Team League fees for the 2022/23 season waived.

7. Election of Officers

President Leslie Goit - volunteered and was acclaimed
Vice-President Morley Elliott - volunteered and was acclaimed
Treasurer Valerie Stuparyk - volunteered and was acclaimed
Secretary Catherine Guay - volunteered and was acclaimed
Statistician - Director Trevor Smith - volunteered and was acclaimed
Scheduler - Director Pearl Liske - volunteered and was acclaimed
Director Sheldon Keenan - volunteered and was acclaimed

Discussion: Volunteers were thanked for offering their time and energy to the league. The statistician one-time fee of $500 for their time dedicated to maintaining weekly stats is to remain in effect and bank signing authorities to be updated to Leslie Goit, Valerie Stuparyk and Catherine Guay.

8. Captain’s Meeting Date – October 11, 2022 - 7:00pm at Raven Pub

9. Team Registration Deadline Date – October 19th, 2022

Teams are to submit a message to the league’s Facebook page outlining their home venue and at least 5 player names (spelled properly) with email addresses for each player.

10. First Night of League Play – Wednesday, October 26th, 2022 @ 7:30pm

11. New Business

A motion was put to the membership to waive all Team League Fees for the 2022/23 season be waived.

Discussion: To encourage new members to join our organization and to reduce financial stress on our venue operators, waiving the league fees would be an incentive. With 14K in the bank account, the league is in a good financial position to offer this incentive.
